Civil War Encampment

St. Scholastica will host a number of Civil War reenactors on March 24th. The reenactors will set up a civil war army camp on the school grounds and will discuss the everyday life of soldiers during the war years. Highlights will include a field hospital, a company field kitchen and infantry.

    Hey, this is Brittney Miles,

    I really liked the Reenactment, it got me more interested in the Civil War and the technology of the time. I am surprised to find that they weren't so very primitive. Also, I learned that a lot of the things we have and use today are based on tools we already had back then. I hope that we get more cool things like this at SSA.
